Linaloe wood and many hours of craftsmanship make this exquisite piece.
Its production process is as follows: Striped lacquer on wood, sanded and a layer of fixative (monochrome lacquer made with chia oil) is applied. Colorants are obtained from vegetables or by mixing anilines with oils. Once the lacquer is applied, the article is burnished with stones and a layer of maque of the desired color is applied, allowing it to dry for 15 or 20 days to apply the next desired color. Once the last layer of maque dries, it is stripped using a turkey feather or a thorn.
