The native Olinalá wood carved by expert hands creates these precious pieces from Guerrero. The author’s expertise shapes the tray which can have high, medium or low walls, then he applies the first layers of paint so that it settles on the wood, then he carves the designs according to the artist, he stipples the imagined figures and finally applies the lacquering technique. The detail of each colorful dot (stippling technique) that forms the illustration makes these Mexican punts unique.
